The Landing

Your Family In The Making

The Landing is a Christian-based teen recovery and support program that provides a safe, faith-centered environment for adolescents struggling with life’s challenges, addictive behaviors, and emotional pain. It operates as the youth counterpart to Celebrate Recovery, offering a structured pathway toward healing and personal growth.

Our Mission and Approach

The Landing’s mission is to help young people find freedom and hope through a relationship with Christ while addressing issues such as substance misuse, depression, anger, anxiety, and family conflict. Its framework mirrors the Celebrate Recovery model, translating its biblical principles into language and topics accessible to teens. Meetings often include worship, life lessons, discussion groups, and peer support guided by trained adult leaders.

Program Structure

Each weekly session generally follows a consistent structure:

1.    Gathering and Worship: Teens come together for music, prayer, and an introductory message.

2.    Teaching or Testimony: Biblical lessons or personal stories illustrate principles of recovery and resilience.

3.    Small Groups: Gender- and age-specific breakout groups provide a confidential space for reflection and accountability.

Impact and Reach

The Landing is hosted by churches across the United States, often as part of youth ministry outreach. It aims to equip participants with emotional tools, spiritual insight, and community support to make healthier choices and build lasting recovery. Many graduates transition into adult Celebrate Recovery groups, ensuring continuity of care and mentorship.

Children living with loved ones affected by substance use disorder (SUD) face unique challenges. "Celebration Place," the kid-centered companion to Celebrate Recovery, is a setting where children discover the pathway to healing and well-being. It's a place for children whose loved ones have made the courageous choice to begin their own journey toward health and wholeness.
