What We Do
Programs & Initiatives
CHRO offers a wide range of Christ-centered recovery programs, support services, and community initiatives. Our programs are in various stages of development. Some services are available today, while others represent CHRO's strategic vision as we continue to expand through community partnerships, dedicated volunteers, and grant funding.
Peer Recovery Support
Recovery coaching, peer support, telephone recovery support, sponsorship, step studies, and connections to all-recovery meetings.
Community Recovery Centers
Developing welcoming spaces that offer sober social events, educational workshops, support groups, life skills training, and recovery resources.
Public Awareness & Advocacy
Community outreach, educational campaigns, Narcan distribution, and initiatives that reduce stigma while promoting recovery, prevention, and hope.
Prison Ministry
Supporting Christ-centered prison ministry through volunteer service, encouragement, and recovery resource distribution for incarcerated individuals seeking hope, healing, and lasting recovery.
Celebrate Recovery® Programs
Offering a Christ-centered recovery model through Celebrate Recovery®, The Landing®, Celebration Place®, step studies, spiritual growth, accountability, and opportunities to serve others.
Comprehensive Recovery Support
Our programs address not only substance use disorders, but also the underlying hurts, habits, and hang-ups that affect individuals and families, including trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, codependency, domestic violence, sexual addiction, anger, and other life challenges.
